I did this in my notebook, testing ideas for larger work. The word in there is Arabic for "restlessness" .. something I am very familiar with. Yesterday I bought two canvas boards 20x24 inches with the intention of creating another version of this piece. I have several options: either I will use collage of my own work with the calligraphy or it will all be painted and the lines meticulously filled in - or perhaps I will do one of each. But I think I will stick to the colour-scheme, more or less.
