The second of the series of seven:
Water, in all forms: the sea, the ocean, rivers, lakes, streams, waterfalls, dew, mist.. warm baths, hot or cold showers, jacuzzi's, steam rooms .. not sure what it is about water that makes me feel truly alive, at peace, puts me in a dreamlike trance.
"This is how I have always been; my being becomes one with the moment that is now.
When I go to sea, I do not swim at all, rather I dissolve as the salt in this living organism.
When I walk on the beach, I walk barefoot, so that the grains of sand will cling to my soles;
and when I walk on wet, freshly cut grass, I love that the fragrant blades envelope my feet." Fadwa

I am right there with you on this one...Water renews me...every part of me...inside and out...:)
Funny uou should mention water in this latest posting. Last night I fell asleep on our couch staring into the fire. Before I fell asleep, I began to think about the importnace of the elements in our lives. I began to think about fire and its formidable potential to nurture, sustain and destroy. Then I realised that all the elements have the same qualities - harnessed or unleashed.
Nice journal page too, Fadwa.
Beautiful pages...and such wonderful colours (my favourites). One day I hope to live by the sea - its where I feel happiest.

I am so with you on this Fadwa. I was at the beach this evening and the qualities of the sea are immense and enchanting... whether gentle or stormy.
It's a great page to celebrate it. I love the fish on the right - it's dancing for joy.
